How late does the ball go, and where is it (if that's not confidential info)? Taking the T will be a problem if you leave much past midnight. I might be able to pick you up at the train station (being something of a night owl, and the station being pretty close); if not, it's about a five-dollar taxi ride.

This is looking doable. The ball's in Salem and runs 'till 11; we can get a lift to Alewife for the T which should put us on one of the last trains.
